My mother always told me to never give too much importance to things, people, and situations. She claimed that those who are worthy of my attention will shine through like the sun on a vibrant mid-summer day; and i'll see it coming beforehand because of that unexplainable heat that they procure to my small little being.
"Aden," she would say, " the universe is unfortunately too big and too strong for any of us, but those who cross path with you and manage to help you feel a sense of belonging in this vastness; they're the ones you want to cherish." And I guess I listened to her but never really understood what she meant until the day I met Luna.
