My "happy path" version...
Bear with me through some of the chapters as I don't always deviate too much from the show. Maybe half way through the 3rd part is where I start to diverge, then I go back & forth to following the show pretty closely, then diverging again. I really liked some of the scenes/ writing on the show, so kept a lot of that as is, and just tried to 'fix' stuff I didn't like as much. :)

NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH ERKENCI KUS
This is a different type of Erkenci Kus story. The characters are familiar, but their interaction has changed from the series, and quirky funny things happen. I have read one story where Sanem had special powers and she will have different ones in this version. There is a difference from the other version. I hope this will be a fun filled story. I apologize if any details are similar to any other story. I try hard to write from my imagination only, except of course ideas from the series. I have no affiliation to Erkenci Kus, the cast, or anyone else involved with the series. I am just a fan, only. Please overlook, any mistakes, long drawn out sentences, or misspellings. Oh Brother, a Story?
As I wrote this story the first time, it became way too fiction. So I revised it to at least have a story told by a far away third person, even though you start with a first person view it WILL change to become third-person. So enjoy the posted chapters. Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises
Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!Terminé

Did you fall in love with Can and Sanem's fairy tale and were left with that longing to know how the story would continue? Maybe you wondered how he would react to the discovery of her pregnancy? Or how great it would have been to see them become parents? To know what happened to all their closest friends? Bulut, Ayhan and Osman? Whether Leyla and Emre realized their dream of having a home of their own and a baby? What about the agency? What about Can's photography? What about Sanem's books? What about the perfumes? And will Deren have found love? And will Muzo and Cey Cey have found happiness? And will Mihriban and Aziz have found each other? And Metin and Akif? And Deniz? If you too have wondered all this, well, so have I. And this is what I imagined. A story that encapsulates all the question marks never explained and gives an ending to each of the characters who in one way or another, have remained in our hearts. Sanem Aydin is an autonomous beautiful young woman with her own perfume and cream business, who lives a quiet bohemian life, loves to dance and who only wishes to find her prince, the love of her life, one day soon...but will she find the right kind of prince, the kind she can trust her heart to..? ***Adult contents (NOT PORN) = pure lovemaking (yes, which means some hot, romantic sex with very much love included ;)*** ************************************************************** To me, Erkenci Kuş is the most mesmerizing story I've ever seen on screen, I adore Canem and always will. After watching it a hundred times with spanish and english subtitles and after reading so many fantastic fanfiction stories here on Wattpad, I wanted to give my own story a try. Mostly is about to try to understand how deep their feelings got for each other in a very short time, how bad jealousy can be, how it can hurt and how it can make a person act. I am quite romantic, so a happy ending is a must! And some sex as well, (as sex was not needed in EK but would have been appreciated, for sure) at least I will give it a try. =) My story is definitely not so conservative as EK, characters are not being so traditional, it's about a more modern lifestyle. My first fanfiction, so please, have that in mind! I am not english, but will do my best to use a correct english. This is a rather odd story, methinks, and probably the nerdiest tale about supernatural TTT that you've ever read. However, due to lack of enough time for now on my part, this third edition of it is still very incomplete and in need of much expansion and revision; I've written it in great haste and still haven't managed to get in much of the stuff which I'd wanted to. I *may* expand this my work greatly and do away with possible errors when I write future editions.
