Deku and Todoroki were friends. Todoroki was stoic and made his comments here and there, but Deku did most of the talking. In their second year, Deku begins to notice that Todoroki has been distancing himself- but by the time he notices- by the time he hears someone call Todoroki a name he never could- he realizes they aren't as close. In that same moment, though, Deku realizes something else: He noticed it 'A Little Too Late.'
