Eighteen year old Alex has everything any high school boy would want. He is nearly the captain of the football team for crying out loud! His father's money and gifted appearance isn't the only thing that is helping him reach the high school dream; his kind and charming personality tends to come in handy. But it is all an act. An act he plans on playing the rest of his life, until he comes across Ezra. There are many differences between the two, but one main difference is Ezra is out of the closet; Alex on the other hand isn't so open. Alex is envious of Ezra's openness, but both are living a life of lies.
Down the halls, they are strangers living in completely different worlds. Under the stars, they are far from people but never felt less lonely.
Both boys have to make decisions based on their struggles, peers, families, and plans for future. Is it better to continue the life that was given to them, or take a risk in changing the script to be who they are?

Cover art dose not belong to me! It's whoever made it and I wanna say it looks AWESOME Alexander is really messed up. He has anxiety, depression, and is mute. By choice. He's also an orphan, and he's been bouncing around foster homes since he was about 11. In all of them, he's been abused, one way or another. He's been in about 7 different homes by now, and his current one doesn't seeeem so bad. But you never know. He's 14, and and has been jumped ahead a few years in school. He will face many struggles along the way, but he will rise up above them to take his shot. And one day, he will blow us all away. Note: There is swearing, talk of abuse and suicide, some abuse (not a lot! only a LITTLE), and some school-level fighting so basically maybe just a fist fight or two.
