Imagine this:

On my first day I'm strutting through the hall.
On time, hair perfectly curled, make-up on point, hair whipping in the wind like hair should. Everybody staring (in a good way) people parting to let me through. Then when I get to my class somebody opens the door. When I walk in I lock eyes with that one hot boy, give him a dazzling smile. Then I sit down smiling to myself because I know this is going to be a good day.

Okay, now lets be realistic. I was late, my hair was not curled, it was in a messy bun (which was now drooping). I had next to no make-up on.
I basically looked like a hobo. Everybody was already in their classrooms and I was lost.
When I finally found my classroom, at least one part of my imagination was correct, kind of... Instead of locking eyes with that one hot boy, I locked eyes with about twenty of them.
