"Hey! I just met you, and this is crazy; but here's my number, so call me maybe! And all the other boys, are trying to chase me; but here's my number, so call me maybe!-"
"What the hell! w-who dances like that?"
I remove my headphone and turn around to see none other than Jedrek Dixon laughing his heads off.
"What the hell are you doing here in my room? more like how the fuck did you even get in?"
He wipes his fake tears off.
"The window was open. Duh! Oh, by the way, your dance was highly entertaining." He is trying not to laugh while I turn beetroot red out of embarrassment.
"You dare say that again?" I try to hit him with the pillow aiming his head.
"Hey! no need to get that feisty now", he says while dodging my unsuccessful attempts.
"Enlighten me. Why are you here?"
"Oh yeah. well about that, I need you to do something for me. My parents have arranged my marriage with some psycho girl. So I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend. "
"And why do you think I'll help you?"
"Oh, you will! remember what I've got??"
Damn.
"Are you blackmailing me?" I ask, narrowing my eyes at him.
"No, no. not blackmailing. that makes me sound like a jerk."
"You are one.", I state.
"Yeah right! as if anyone would believe that."
"Oh, your name itself suggests that. Just remove the two letters from your name and you will find out."
He pretends that he didn't hear me and then continues, "Let's call it an exchange offer. All you have to do is pretend to be my girlfriend. I'll give you your precious tape back."
"When will I get it back?"
"As soon as I'm left alone. So deal?"
What do I do? God help me.
"Exchange offer huh? Fine. Deal."
And that's how it started.
