Upon pulling up at the crime scene, I open my door. I race out to meet Sean on the other side.
I stopped him there, showing him a smile, and gave him a soft grip on the shoulder with a reassuring look.
I heard the medical examiner shuffling up to us, he was a lean Scottish male, that had brown eyes and rust-colored hair, he wore a typical lab coat over his hoodie and sweatpants, he - alike most people - favored comfy clothing rather than professional clothing while working. 
    "The victim was nearly burned alive when our witness found them, the victim however died shortly after writing something in a foreign language into their own skin using their nails. Our translator determined it was Icelandic, but you won't like the translation."All Rights Reserved

I couldn't think of a smart remark in response to what he had said so I mumbled a "fuck off" before returning to the bookshelf, I was sure my face turned crimson. "Just out of curiosity," Levi continued, now leaning against the bookshelf. I wasn't going to warn him about the fact that it was slowly tipping over. "You're single right?" I wasn't going to tell him that his assumption offended me either. Instead I replied with "Just out of curiosity" I said in a mocking tone "You're single now too, aren't you?" "You're a feisty one, aren't you?" "You're not gonna leave me alone, are you?" I muttered, attempting once more, to grab the book I so badly needed for English. "You're really hot, you know?" "You're really annoying, you know?"

"I told you I forbid you from having sex with any other men." He replies. "You can't forbid me to do anything. You don't own me." I argued. He turns around smirking at me. "Technically I do." "Well I don't care. I'm going to do whatever I want, with whoever I want-" He grabs my throat and pushing me against the door. I stared right into his eyes. I didn't see anger, I just saw lust. "You're not going to do anything with anyone because I'm gonna make sure you don't. You're mine princess. All mine." He whispers possessively into my ear. I could feel my insides twisting and turning. I was already turned on and now I'm turned on even more. He flips me around so that my back is facing him and arches my back so that my butt is against him. He pulls my dress over my butt placing his hand gently on my butt rubbing it before slapping it. "I will punish you if I catch you having sex with anyone." "You won't do shit." I said but it came out more of a whimper since he slowly slid his hand down to my core cupping it. December twentieth is the day I remember being brought into the asylum for the first time. Like any typical psychopath, I screamed. I cried. I remember snatching the nurse's hair until she screamed and I was slapped into unconsciousness and thrown into the room. The only difference? I wasn't a psychopath. For the first few days, I would cry maniacally upon hearing any nurse go by, to catch one's attention and tell her that I wasn't insane. "That's exactly what an insane person would say" They said, unbothered and it was as if my fate rested in the mouldy walls of the Asylum. And I soon realized that there was no use fighting for my life now .Which brings me to the present day, another one that I'll mark in history with red. The day I met him.

He whispers as I felt something sharp on the side of my waist that was piercing the surface of my skin. My heart pounds heavily my breathing became strained causing me to exhale faster and heavier. We stood inside my bedroom feet away from my sleeping husband he pulls me closer to his body moving backwards to the hallway. I could only follow hoping that my life would be spared. Suddenly, we stopped by the edge of the staircase. "You're mine." He whispers in a hoarse tone placing a kiss on my cheek hitting me on the head with the back of the knife. I was seeing double. I was feeling dizzy, everything was spinning. I felt like I was in slow motion groaning at the pain looking down the stairs. That's the last thing I see before I black out. A/N: WARNING, there is profanity, gory scenes and mild sexual content throughout the book. For all you grammar nazi's. This is by no means a final draft. There are many errors and I'll get to them. I kept my eyes on anything but his face. "I'm.. I didn't..please" What happens when the new guy in school is a convicted felon? Sadie is a good girl but she gets lost in his troubled past. I scream trying to run faster hoping somebody would hear my cries. My throat became sore from the cold quickly making it harder to breathe freely. "Help me! Somebody!" I hear the tall figure run behind me feeling a grip on my hair. My white ski hat fell into the ground covered in snow. The man groans pulling my hair towards him making me collapse. "No, stop!" I scream struggling from his grasp, punching and kicking aimlessly. "Shhh." The man whispers into my ear grabbing onto my wrists starting to cuff them. "No!" I scream twisting and turning trying to bite the man's arm. The man doesn't say much. The only thing I hear is his heavy breathing. He starts to shackle my ankles together as I lay a full blown kick into his face making him groan in pain holding onto his nose on top of the mask. "Help me, somebody!" I keep yelling as he kicks me in the stomach and takes out a clothed bag from his coat pocket putting it on my head covering my face. He ties it up from the back tightly making my neck feel pressured. "Please." I whimper. "You don't have to do this." I cry admitting defeat. "Night, night." ~ 10 part series ~ - The night was chilly and the frost bite bit at my nose. I crinkled it in response to the freezing cold as snow powdered all around my aching body. The ground was soft but lightly damp from the condensation on the tips of the grass blades that dig into my skin. I was naked and alone and could do nothing about it except lay there in silence, that was until the sound of footsteps came up to me in a sense of urgency. "Are you okay?" The voice asked me. I looked down at their dark blue converse shoes and follow their legs up to their torso and face. Their light ginger hair sprinkled with snowflakes that looked to be like dandruff almost. He helped me sit up and he held me close to his surprisingly warm body. "You must be freezing. Here. Take my jacket." He got up and slid it off his muscular torso and wrapped it around my shivering body. I looked down at the embroidered letters and patches on it that made me realize he was part of a sports team at our school. I can't believe a jock gave me his letterman jacket, but only if I knew that was only the beginning...
