Both of them are mentally unstable, they tried to kill each other, Alec tortured Aleah, she kicked him where the sun doesn't shine.

I mean aren't they perfect for each other.

They met when he smirked at the wrong moment and she laughed along. Someone broke a bone. They found that funny.
