The Heart of A Dancer

Meet Adelaide Myers, your "not-so-ordinary" girl who just might punch you if you're not too careful. She's not afraid to make a stand for herself and others and isn't afraid of telling you how it is, no matter how much it hurts. She also transferred from Texas to New Jersey to live out her last year of high school with her brother, Landon. Who really moves to a different state on their last year of high school? Well, when your mother dies from what the doctors called a "surprise heart disease", it tends to stress yourself and others. But her father could never get over the fact that she's been gone for over three years now, it takes a toll on not only himself, but Adelaide. Being forgotten and ignored drove her to where she is now and she could never be happier. Since she's danced for over ten years, she recently joined the Free Movement Dance Company in Elizabeth, NJ and has already made a couple of friends. Leaving behind her past, she hopes to make new friends and conquer the path to her future. But there's one piece of baggage she's still carrying on her back: she lives also with the same heart condition as her mother.

Meet Jared Richie, the cocky soccer player who's ego might just be bigger than the ball he kicks around. That one guy who happens to be good at almost everything ranging from athletics to education to taking other peoples girlfriends. His behavior is maintained by his two childhood friends Jamie and Erik, who are siblings and, quite frankly, double the annoyance. Though Jared might have a reputation of an ignorant player, there's a side of him that only one person can slowly uncover.
