A life etched out in scarlet along a cold, bare wall. The light fading from their eyes as they commit the unknown, murdered for doing no wrong, and yet warned in profusely in a scrawly sketch. Seemingly without motive, and no definitive MO, the killings increase; the only thing connecting them is the bodies lying on the floor and the writing plastered across the wall.

Death. That was the only thing she was interested in until she had to work with him, an arrogant detective who thinks he's the master of solving mysteries. And for him, solving murders was the only thing that motivated him until he met her, a strange forensic assistant with the gift of annoying anyone with that personality of hers and her morbid interests. Together, they'll have to catch the killer that's terrorizing the city with all of the bodies piling up in the streets. And maybe a few hearts will be stolen in the way.
