Guardians of Eternity 1: Beginning of the Beginning

John was just an ordinary kid, he was picked on, made fun of, and got beaten up. That all changed, however, when a mysterious angel named Aquila took him from his home, and showed him magic beyond his wildest imagination. Now, John must discover how to use the powers he never knew he had, and survive a new school, the Planeswalker Academy. Far too many questions remain unanswered, who is Aquila, what connection does he have to John's past, and what is this darkness that looms just out of sight? The only way to find out, is to join John in his story of magic, power, friendship, and discovery.
NOTE: Throughout the book, I will make a great many references to a great many things. I will post the original credit at the end of the first chapter they appear in, but if I forget, please remind me.
