Sally's friends, Larry, Ashley, and Todd, do their best to lift their friend up, but despite their efforts it's not having the same effect as they had hoped. For Ashley and Todd that is, Larry seems to have a better grasp on Sally and his situations. His dad is an abusive drunkard that doesn't see the wrong in his violent actions. Sally's personal demon is sending him destructive messages that do nothing but bring the boy lower than the ground. Even though he has his demon on his back, Larry has his back. He's gotten used to being knocked down and made fun of, and he expected the same exact thing during his move to Nockfell. What he got instead, though, was a friend. The stereotypical bad boy; a stoner, a skater, a womanizer. But inside he's really a big softy; loves animals, the best shoulder to cry on, and a true artist. Sal fell in love with him quickly.
