In 1979, LangStone, Indiana, Robin Maine comes across the new girl who moved in on the outskirts of town. Never had Robin felt such emotions for someone, especially a girl. Lynette was cool, punk and a rebel, everything Robin was not. The only problem was that her peers and parents would never accept her if she expressed her liking for Lynette. All Robin wants is to be herself, why can't they understand?
