A short story I wrote to get my creative juices flowing. It describes a battle scene and how the eyes of a soldier sees the battle play out,how he is just a person fighting for what he told is right fighting other people the exact same way, this is political in the sense that in reality the only people who benefit from war are the players in the offices using these people as chess pieces. This is in no way meant to insult the armed forces of any country,if you have fought to protect your home and loved ones you are stronger than I ever could be and far stronger than the people that potentially used you as a tool.

Humanity is right in the middle of an epic battle between heaven and hell. Standing on the sidelines are the laziest man on earth and the President of the United States who just might be the savior, the antichrist or both. Personally, I think we're all doomed. ------------------------------------------------------- This is my first attempt at the Open Novella Contest where you choose a prompt and write a novella. The prompt I chose: "Heaven and Hell collide once again. The War Demons march to meet the Battle Angels in a struggle for dominance over the Human Realm." I almost chose the prompt which involved taking a cow for a walk, but come on. Battle Angels! Heck yeah. Moo!
