Kylee Breeze used to be the most cheerful person around, she was always known as one of the guys and it never bothered her. She was happy. Kylee was just 16 when she lost both her leg and her parents in a car accident. After the accident Kylee closed up. She didn't talk to anyone and she didn't smile. She was just a shell of her old self holding all her pain inside. A year and a half after the accident and unable to bare the pain of her loss, she moved in with her older sister who lived in Nebraska. Death or no death, Kylee was just an abnormal girl. She wasn't like other girls. She didn’t obsess about her hair and she didn't wear makeup.She was never the girl to obsess over boys, in fact she had never had a boyfriend in her life, let alone be intimate with anyone. Kylee was the type of girl who always had her hair in a ponytail and is often found in the woods hunting deer with either her Savage 111 Hunter XP gun or with her compound bow.

Blake Night was the next alpha of the Midnight Moon Pack, but he soon became the alpha after his dad died a month before his eighteenth birthday. Alpha Blake wasnt fortunate enough to find his mate. After five years of being alone, Blake snapped. His pack becomes known as the cruelest pack. He spent the next two years of his life training his pack to be vicious and smart. Since he had no mate all his protection went to his pack and his pack only.

It was now 2014, Kylee starting life at her new high school as a Senior and Blake still mateless and protecting his pack at twenty five. Kylee need to clear her mind so she goes into the woods with her bow with only hunting on her mind. Blake gets mad at his friends and leaves to take a run in his wolf form. 17. That's how old I am today. It's about time too. I was getting sick of being 16. I hear a low rumble being emitted from my chest. I run towards the woods before the change takes over my body. As soon as I get to the woods near the lake I have come to know and love, ducks are floating in the middle looking for something to eat. I quickly strip down to only my sports braw and shorts, when and excrutiating paing takes over my body and I fall to the ground. My legs were the first to change. I seriously felt like dying. The pain of every first change is unbearable. Thankfully it all soon stops and I am standing on all fours. I walk towards the lake noticing that the ducks that used to be there were long gone. I must have scared them. I can’t do any sports because of this. I have some friends but only a few people know what I am. My Pack. There are 8 of us total: Me (The male alpha), Elisabeth (the female alpha), Skylar (she’s like a sister), Quinn (He’s gay), Jessica, Allie, Cynthia, and Marie. I turned each of them because they wanted to be like me. We treat each other as family and protect each other with our lives. We call ourselves the Shadow Pack.

A curse from the Goddess who created them all, that the wolves grew to simply call Psychosis due to the effects, if anyone ever tried to force a shift before the right time. With no cure from this curse Amelia had to deal with it and strengthen her wolf as much as possible until the day she would stop running. To stop running from the death that trails closely behind, and to face it and destroy it to avenge her family that didn't deserve to die. She had a one track mind, getting stronger and kill her enemy. Never thinking about a mate, much less want one, never expecting to run into her mate either. All she wanted was to destroy the rouge pack that was known for attacking and killing anyone just because they wandered too close whether they were human or wolf.
