They say if you love something, you should let it go. I've never really believed this phrase. I found it misleading and inaccurate. If you love something, shouldn't you try everything in your power to hold on to it? That's what I thought, anyway. I guess you could say I am a hopeless romantic. I always pictured myself having a storybook life. The prince charming, great friends, and a happy ending. Unfortunately, life doesn't work like that. There are never any happily ever afters.
