Her little sister is hounded by these creatures into running away from home and spreads them wherever she goes like a plague. Lise must find a way to resolve a conflict of motivation. Save the innocent and risk losing her sister or leave the people to their fate in order to reach her in time. Whatever her answer, there is darkness ahead. Her eyes may never again be colored by the dawn. - This story takes place in a world where the day-night cycle spans the rough equivalent of a year.
