This is Book 1 of my Hunger Games series, all rights go to Suzanne Collins. The story is set two years after the war. Katniss and Peeta are just starting a new life together but there is unrest in the districts driven by the hardship of living in post war Panem. A new faction in the Capitol led by a relic from the war is trying to take control back from the rebels using the unrest to try to spark an Uprising. The star crossed lovers will have to return to help the rebels if their to lead a normal life for them and their family.

5 years after the rebellion, Katniss and Peeta are together and living in district 12. They are both happy although Peeta still has flashbacks and Katniss still blames herself for Prims death. Their relationship will have ups and downs but this is mainly for Everlark shippers, so if your team Gale this book probably isn't for you!
