Don't we all get tired of this dumb plain we call reality? Haven't we all wished that we can change it with our own hands?

Condescending, nonchalant and extremely smart, Hikaru Sora, a second year high school student in the experimental school of Joshiki academy - a school whose system is controlled by its own council, usually questioned and criticised by people outside their small community, volunteers to be the council president's secretary who is also his beautiful and abnormally smart childhood friend, Hirahara Kirisaki, to help her raise their school into an exceptional one. Although with Kirisaki's unusually introverted personality, it only adds to the weight he needs to lift.

Soon after, a notebook having the power to make anything written in it come true was given to him and meets an elfin girl who apparently came with the notebook from a world parallel to Earth's dimension. He slowly learns about the other world and the surprising revelations that come with it.

Ignoring that he is a target to kill by the beings of the other world being a keeper of such a powerful object and all the mischief the notebook frequently makes, he uses his and Kirisaki's wits to cheat their way into instantly improving their school and partly transcending humanity and its understanding in the way, with the new found principles of magic. Of course with the fun and rather distracting help from his friends.
