Twelve year old Mackenzie lives with her brothers, parents and sister in this three story house. She loves to tease and joke around with her older brother Zach. Her best friend Jake, is the Alpha's son. She has no idea that Jake is her mate, but the day she turns 16, the second she sees Jake, she figures out that he's been her mate all this time. One day after school, her brother Deven picks her up. When she hops into the truck, she realizes he's been crying. When they get home her brothers and sister, tell her that their parents died in a rogue attack. And the only person that can cheer her up is Jake. (This ain't the best discription. But the story is better than it's discription explains.)
