Endellion Phoenix only cares about one thing - keeping her people safe. This becomes nearly impossible when the ominous presence of the Calamity forces the entire Fire Court to leave their home, Ignatius. Now on the move, the full effect of the Calamity weighs on the Ignatius clan and an unlikely joining of the first borns of each Elemental Clan must take place in order for peace to be restored. On this vital quest, the four discover that in order to do so, they will have to accept the idea of interdependence, as well as make ultimate sacrifices not only for each other, but for the future of their world. Met by challenges at every corner, they are forced to question who and what they stand for, all the while discovering ancient secrets that could be a step in the right direction at answering the greatest question of all.
