Down Deep
When the dragon flu had come, it washed over the world killing most of the people of Terra. In an attempt to save their people, the government took them deep into the underground to a city constructed for emergencies. Twelve hundred and twenty one years later, the city was massive and thriving. Grant had a good job, comfortable home, and life in general offered little to complain about. After being ripped from his bed in the early morning by the city watch one morning, Grant found himself labeled as a trader and thrown down into the mines with mutants and criminals. Half mutant and half Terren, Zdana survived being crippled by the Capital City Council. Live in the mines was an everyday struggle. Starvation, fog, mine collapse were only a few of the things her people faced every day. When Grant came into the mines, he brought with him something Zdana had been seeking. A clue they may lead to all of their freedom. All they had to do, was keep it hidden from the city watch, and the Council.

Starlo and the Sick
You're just a simple human. You hate conflict and overall confrontation. It rids you with an unexplainable anxiety. Now, you've been contaminated with some human-borne disease that nobody has heard of, and you're destined to die in three weeks. With family you're stressing about upsetting and overbearing friends you try to ignore; you find your only option left to be the pit in the mountain. Apparently (in your mind, at least), death by falling (and breaking EVERY. SINGLE. DAMN. BONE. IN. YOUR. BODY!!) is better than death by unexplainable sickness. -NOTES- I did not make Undertale OR Undertale Yellow (the fangame version). There are not NEARLY enough UT Yellow fics, so I decided I'd be one to contribute lol Don't expect it to be good, though. This is a soulmate au :) Starlo x Gn!Sick!Reader The smoking is in that one scene in chapter six near the end. Starlo doesn't actually smoke XP I MADE THE COVER :D This is the black&white ver, so if you want the full color 1, i'll get to work, just ask! My soulmate AU is a bit different than others tho (I think). It branches off of the hanaki disease, but without the one-sided love. If a monster and a human are paired together, the human gains the drawbacks of the bond, getting said disease. Bonds such as this are rare, but apparently not TOO rare for your case. The only way to rid yourself of the disease is to mix the flowers with your bonded's blood (monsters don't bleed, but as a substitute, they can infuse a small amount of HP into the mixture to have the same affect). This antidote is unknown, as is the sickness, due to it being mostly off the records for decades. There are some small studies on it though, but most humans don't find their monster soulmate. Lucky for you, the fates are cheering you on.

Withering World 1 [MCSM Fanfiction]
It wasn't what they truly wanted, but it was satisfying enough - tales of the New Order's adventures spread far and wide, with everyone who heard it always dying to meet their heroes. No wonder Jesse's town has rapidly grown since Petra left for her adventures. But after an aching 2 years, the warrior returns, reuniting with her friends and seeking to lay off the hardcore adventuring for a while. Little do they know that Beacontown is unstable, its overpopulation causing a sinister, world-dominating apocalypse to unleash. Sickness, panic, and grief begin to loom among the people who are waiting on the antidote that Jesse, Petra, and Lukas are tasked to retrieve. Now, it's only a matter of time until the whole planet withers, or even worse, when those with the sickness reach the final stage. History repeats itself when the heroes find that it's them against the world. They've slain a Witherstorm, but can they survive the consequences of a Wither fallout? ~~~~ -PERSPECTIVES- [PETRA - 1ST PERSON] [JESSE - 1ST PERSON] [LUKAS - 1ST PERSON] ****

Withering World 2: MUTATE [MCSM Fanfiction]
[BOOK 2 - SEQUEL TO WITHERING WORLD] It only takes an earthquake and a breathtaking discovery of enhanced human abilities for Jesse's life to change. WITHER was conquered three years ago, bringing brighter days to Beacontown and its allies. The blue mycelium antidote is now the people's weapon, keeping the disease in its grave. And as a plus, the New Order's friendship has never been closer. But when a war is lost, not everyone wants to accept defeat, especially not the disease that'd almost doomed humanity. A wicked mutation is underway, too remorseless to spare even the ones who have the greatest chance of survival. This new, blood-curdling variant is wiser, stronger and has stolen the very tactic that Jesse uses to bring home the victory every time - teamwork. Now forcing the infected to their side, WITHER taunts at the antidote that no longer cures. What hope is left for the world? ~~~~ -PERSPECTIVES- [JESSE - 1ST PERSON] [LUKAS - 1ST PERSON] [PETRA - 1ST PERSON] ****
