Poseidon met Samantha Jackson (the first reincarnation of Sally Jackson) in late 1939. They had a child named Lilly Jackson. In 1944, when Lilly was five years old, Samantha was drafted into the war to be a nurse. While Samantha was away, Hans Richardson, Lilly's stepfather, used this opportunity to get drunk (something Samantha never allowed him to do) and lash out his anger on young Lilly. Deciding that she had had enough of it, Lilly runs away and meets Bianca and Nico di Angelo, who believe her when she tells them about the monsters that come after her. After learning that Nico and Bianca went missing after their mother's death, Lilly is determined to find them, only she falls into Tartarus while doing so. By the end of Mark of Athena, when Percy and Annabeth fall into Tartarus as well, they find Percy' s long lost sister, who, since being in Tartarus, did not age, and find the Doors of Death.

That is, until Aphrodite McLean and her daughter Piper are hired to prepare for Prince Triton's wedding and crowning. Turns out Piper is curious and very persuasive. War Of Vengeance
Percy Jackson the son of Poseidon was casted into Tartarus because they thought he is to powerful and just to make it worse the only reason for their act was the request of the campers to banish him for 'beating' campers up. Of course a lie. He never did something like that but only Apollo and Artemis know because of their domains of the moon and the sun. Still Zeus banished him for being a threat to Olympus and for beating younger campers up. The young demigod ends up in Tartarus again but this time he is in an part so ancient and with so much raw power that even Nyx herself would fear to come here.
