Temple at the Edge of the World

Anseld knows he's the odd one in his village. He can't talk to people, preferring to be with animals. He can sit in his room for hours tying knots. And he can't stand how plain his life has become. He wants a change - which is why he adopts the stray white dog that he finds wandering the streets one day. However, according to local legend, the White Dog is an omen of death.

But Anseld's grandma says something else: each master the White Dog chooses has the opportunity to become a hero if they follow him to a fabled temple at the very edge of their known world.

After the dog proves himself to be more than meets the eye, Anseld takes his grandma's advice and follows the dog far beyond the boundaries of his village and into a world he's never known. But between a journey fraught with bizarre trials and the constant threat of a beast known as Ormodhal following him, he's gonna need all the help he can get if he's gonna be the first hero to complete the White Dog's journey.
