Guard your heart. A phrase, a proverb, a warning.

It's finally summer. The last summer before a new start, the summer after high school and before college. Rose Roberts thought that it would be a wonderful time to make everlasting moments with her high school sweetheart, Jesse McCalman, before they depart for college. That was all ruined when she caught him liplocking with a tourist.

She doesn't want to endure the pain of getting her heart broken again so she vows off intimate relationships over the summer. She plans on spending her time with just her family and friends. However, after getting a job at Iced Hearts, a new local ice cream parlor, her co-worker seems to think that he can change her mind. Casper Baker, the green-eyed cashier, thinks he can melt her so called iced heart. Maybe guarding her heart isn't the right idea? Hopefully, all goes well as the pair go through rocky roads and meltdowns until finally reaching the cherry of their eyes.
