The world has changed. Nothing is the same. No schooling, jobs, economy, family, or even religion.

The year Orva was born was the year that the war ended. After her mother died she was placed in The System, but kicked out the day she turned 10. When Orva witnessed an uncommon beating on a few kids in the System, her world turned up side down. She was forced out of the village and found a new one, where she met Ren, a boy who believed in something thought to be forever lost. Now Orva must decide to go along with something she has no belief in, or continue with her life, running from the Krigare.
