Cinderpaw leads a normal life in ThunderClan, the daughter of the deputy and a strong warrior. She has plenty of friends, including her best, Hopepaw, the fastest cat in the clan. She has two kind brothers and an adopted sibling. Her mentor, Shadeleap, is generous and smart. Everything seems to be perfect, and Cinderpaw hopes for the best future.
Then something tragic happens. Cinderpaw kills Hopepaw, her best friend. After Cinderpaw hides what happened, it seems like everything will go back to normal. However, what happens next is a string of mystery and darkness.
Includes some dark themes, like suicide and paranoia.
Includes LGBTQ+ characters, including the main character's parents.

However, when StarClan tell her of this evil, she may get the chance to prove herself to everyone. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her.
