Dear Reader,
My name is Madison Galbreath. Most people call me "Mattie". This book is the story of my life. Don't worry, I didn't leave anything out. I was diagnosed with Leukemia a month after my 16th birthday and at that moment I felt as if I would disappear into oblivion. I planned everything I would do before I would die, and expected it to come. I sat there waiting for it to happen.
But before I reached the age of seventeen, I was cured. I don't exactly know how or why but I know it was for a reason, and I'm going to find out.
I want you to read this because this because I want my life to have some sort of meaning. I want to impact others lives with my own life experiences. I want to prove to people that sometimes doing the wrong thing is the right thing. Even if that wrong thing is becoming best friends with a stranger you met on a train, or dancing on the roof of your high school or kissing someone you shouldn't. Tour with a band you've never heard of. Go out and do something with your life.
If you fear making mistakes, then why are you living? Mistakes are what you live for. If you don't make mistakes, then how are you supposed to learn from them?
I want to know that I was saved for a reason. I want to make a difference. That's why I am writing to you and that's why you should read this.
No matter how much you think the world is against you, it's actually trying to teach you something.

|| COMPLETED || I want to be ready for college, but I'll be leaving everything behind. I don't want to forget my mom, my friends, or the memories made. Then again, I want to move on, run away from the heart break following me. I want to be free, I need to be free. For everything that I know, college could be a restart for highschool. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete
