Several years after the battle with Honerva and Allura's sacrifice, the remaining Paladins have begun to settle and explore their new roles. Now that the lions had left to who knows where, everyone assumed that resolve and peace had finally arrived. It even had Shiro thinking that he can leave it all; after all, the past didn't have any more to offer.
It actually had more.
Due to the reveal of an unexplainable structure in Eastern Texas in the wake of a landslide, the Garrison is called to investigate. The discovery begins to unravel something that the government long before kept hidden. Shiro also comes across a box he thought was long gone from his life before Voltron, before Kerberos. Not only could its contents be the answer, it could be the key in finding a planet that also recovered from it's own war. One that erased its own connection from Earth. Not to mention, reuniting Shiro with someone he lost before he made his name known.
It's a race to uncover this mystery planet, why both are lost to each other, how just possibly how Shiro is caught in the middle of it.

Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron.
