Last year, in the year 2038, Connor became a deviant. He awoke thousands of Androids and helped Markus win the revolution. However, Cyberlife were able to regain control over Connor, and he shot Markus. Lost, all deviants were able to be tracked down and killed.
This year, Connor has been given a tight program to keep him from becoming deviant. But when he is assigned to work with Detective Gavin Reed, Connor realises that he will do anything to make sure 'he' doesn't let Gavin die. Anything.
