Out of the Ashes

This is my first book. I've been trying to write this book for almost 3 years, but I can't seem to write it the way I see it in my head. I'm not very good with my words, characterization, or little details. I don't claim to be a good writer, but all I want is to write this book. It's about a teenage girl who has a crush on her best friend. Her name is Katherine. She has an entire other life that she doesn't remember. She's from another world/dimension, but she can't remember anything about it. There is one man that is after her from her world and he wants her bc he wants to make children with her, and he wants her brother so that he can dissect and study what make the siblings so special/gives them their unique abilities. She has to protect herself and the people she loves and she must fight a war to do it. This book won't be very good and I would love constructive feedback/advice if you are willing to give it.
