*Book 2 in the DragonKin series*

After the great battle that cost the Kin their Chieftess, the Pyrite clan attempted to recover from the loss, but it was a wound that proved hard to heal. Cast into a seemingly endless winter the mountain landscape became a still and hostile place, game was scarce and desperate convoys, both human and kin, were dispatched to distant lands seeking supplies.

Meanwhile, Menos, the high priest of Dladruzen had not given up on his goal to become dragon lord. However, a stronger passion now burned within him, fuelled by obsession and the need for revenge.
