Eliza Castillo always wanted be a chef.  Her hard work, patience and drive made her the most promising chef in Stefano's, a renowned restaurant in Los Angeles.  The last thing she ever imagined herself doing  is having to start her life all over again and move back east.  Unfazed and with more determination, she marches on.  What Eliza did not expect is the harder fight she'll have when she comes face to face with the man she always thought to be the one who got away.    

Looking forward on having a well deserved break after the success of their US tour, guitarist and band member, Chase Rossi is happy to be back home in New York City.  But an unexpected encounter with Eliza will leave him reeling and will unearthed memories and feelings he had long buried in the past.

The second in the Gone trilogy. Sequel to Gone. ❝If it's meant to be, they'll come back. ❞ I knew how I wanted my love story to play out. Only, this pesky thing called life got in the way of things and messed everything up. I messed everything up, which caused restless nights for myself due to my innervating thoughts. It was my fault, but I had my reasons. Still, I was stupid. How could I have hurt her like this? We make decisions irrationally sometimes, which cause pain upon others - only we don't realise it at the time. Yet, we're human. We are allowed to do these things, right?
