Matthew was always a careful kid, he never hurt himself too much, but his brother hurt him, he was almost always bruised because of it, as he grows this doesn't change, he becomes so used to bruises he doesn't notice which ones are his soulmates. until he gets some words from his soulmate.
Gilbert was always covered in sensitive bruises, and it was always painful. he wishes he could convince the person on the other end to be more careful, until that is, he realizes he can.
