Unlike the other Espers in the facility, Van was able to avoid discovery until his late teen years. After which, along with his sister, they were forcefully brought to the Alpha-Region headquarters to become soldiers for there part of the country. In all honesty, Van didn't give a shit. He didn't really have the best life growing up, and these people fed him well enough. Sure, they enjoyed testing him and experimenting on him, but being what he was, Van could get away with ignoring request with sarcastic remarks and ignoring basic duties. That is until Van unknowingly throws his sister right into the middle of the facilities twisted and cliched games, leaving him with no choice but to throw his quarter into the machine.

Dipper things he's a nice guy until Mabel shows up messing everything up. (bitch). Bill slowly starts to fall in love with the young teen and Dipper starts to fall for the demon as well. In their continual expansion, they seeded galaxies with pods and connection satellites. Over time they upgraded their dyson spheres into matryoshka brain Cores. Imagine a computer powered by a star. Citizens of Cores no longer age once they upload their minds into the virtual living system of the Core. While they didn't age, most still choose to cycle through life and death though at a different scale of time compared to our lives. Citizens can visit other planets and live there as if they were on a "vacation". Mercury is Earth's hub connected to the closest Core and Earth is a remote vacation spot for wealthy citizens. When the main character was 10 he witnessed a citizen returning to the Core. The story continues 10 odd years later when he again witnesses a similar situation unfolding and manages to touch the person returning to the Core. This causes him to be swept up in the transfer as well and for his mind to join as a "Guest" user of the Core. As a Guest he has limited powers, a starting balance of zero cr or Citizen credits, and no idea how he can get home. He is the first human to ever become a Guest of a Core. Where money itself is the highest form of their science.

After a terrible car crash resulting in the death of their parents, 17 year olds Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent back to Gravity Falls to live with their Grunkles. Mabel now hates Dipper, and blames him for the crash, since they were only out getting him his anxiety medication. The Grunkles don't fully agree with Mabels logic, but are still distant with Dipper, for they think he's a freak because of his anxiety. All the kids in her class considers her to be the most prettiest girl in school that the boys drool over, but also the strangest that she hardly has any friends. Despite of being the center of attention at school she wishes to be normal girl because her memories of being a testing experiment in H.M.E as a little girl still taunts her and she's good at everything because of the special abilities they gave her which she thinks isn't fair. No matter how much she wants to forget her past she can't because she does not want to forget the first boy she ever loved who was also a testing experiment with her who she called "Yo-kun " She's haven't seen him in 7 years and wonders if he's even alive or if she will ever see him again. A new kid arrives at school and all the kids fear him as he looks like he can be the son of Satan. Maddie is curious about the boy who looks fearsome to everyone and with cold aura around him and she realizes its her first love " Yo-kun"!

I see the world through different eyes--literally. Some people would say I have it all. I'm smart, have popular friends and my parents are loaded. One deadly weekend at the family lake house changes all that. When I wake up in a strange facility in the middle of nowhere, I'm told that I'm being held for the public's safety and that I've been given a gift. I can see threads of light around objects that can be manipulated to change ordinary things into new and, sometimes, unworldly contraptions. But to call it a gift? It's actually pretty freaky. But the facility director has got to be the worst. He's completely obsessed with unlocking my abilities, not to mention he's a psychopath. To make matters worse, there's this boy I like. I just wish I knew if I could trust him or not. Or maybe the better question is--can he trust me? I almost forgot to tell you the craziest part of all. I'm radioactive.
