Elaine Winters has always dreamt of making it as an artist. Her feelings are often portrayed on her work, so when she sees her childhood crush, Kyle Ford, asks her best and only friend, Lacy Corviette, out, she can feel nothing but heartbroken and betrayed.

Ryan Parker was the school player who was finally caught by love. He’s also one to never look desperate, but when he loses the girl of his dreams, Lacey Corviette, to his enemy, he will go to any means to get her back.

With Lacey and Kyle as a couple, both Ryan and Elaine see it as a threat to their own happy ending.

So, headstrong but slightly broken, Ryan and Elaine set off on a fake relationship determined to drive the “perfect couple” of the school Kyle and Lacey apart with jealousy and in return, they both get their happy ending back.
