Britain. Ministry of Magic. Department of Mysteries. Present Day. Niranjana Sharma is in trouble abroad. Back at home, she'd broken plenty of rules, and landed in trouble almost every time. At least Acharya was there. He made up excuses for her. Explanations that made complete sense. He convinced authority that she hadn't really done anything wrong ... she was just a child - albeit a mischievous one - with a deep connection with the Gods. Acharya always told her that her faith was her strongest weapon. The Gods answered her because her intentions were pure and good, and her magic was powerful because of this. And so, Acharya had told her, it was also the reason why he defended her. She was innocent and witty- just a little mischievous; the very qualities Acharya looked for in a student. Well. Acharya was a little too far away to wiggle her out of this one. ************************************************ My submission for @AmbassadorsIN contest "What if?"
