Chrom and Lissa still loose their older sister Emmeryn, resulting in Chrom and his new wife becoming rulers of Ylisse. The stranger who constantly shows up just in time, bears the mark of the exalt, and Chrom learns of a disturbing destiny in a dark future. The Shepherds and the new Exalt race to protect the future and everything they hold dear. Lucina: has come to the past to protect the future. She tries to avert the events that lead to her destroyed future with the deaths of her parents, as well as the resurrection of the Fell Dragon Grima. Though, traveling back she learns that her task of changing the future is daunting and not as easy as averting a single event. Time favors it's original course.
