Aurora Starfire, a female raccoon (like Rocket) has been living with the gang for quite some time and has grown close friendships with all of them. But one in particular seems to always cross into her thoughts and mind even when he isn't present in the room with her. Eventually, Aurora and Rocket admit their deepened feelings for one another. But will he and the rest of the Guardians be enough to protect Aurora from dangers of her past who threaten her very existence? Especially when the truth about the death of her mother that has been kept from her since her kithood (proper term for a baby raccoon) is revealed to her and also why many enemies of her's want her dead.
