When the Cure that was designed to heal all ailments mutates its patients into deadly monsters, the Chimera Company develops the Noroi. Cyborgs with clouds of nanomachines instead of blood that succeed in bringing our species back from extinction. A young reporter who lost half of his internal organs in the third continental war finds himself in the middle of a death match between two of the first Noroi. When he is almost killed, the Company takes him in and turns him into a new kind of Noroi.
Now RJ must find a way to restore his human body with the help of a mysterious artificial intelligence program, while trying to stop the Company from becoming even more powerful.

For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
