Eleanor Fernsong is a kind, gentle and beautiful young woman living a simple life as a healer. Everything changed when the royal army stationed itself near the small mountain village she called home. The handsome but brooding General Victor Ashfallen seems to be suspicious of Eleanor and her mage abilities but Eleanor has nothing to hide or so she thinks.. As war with the neighboring country escalates so does the tension between Eleanor and Victor. But things become clear that a dark force is behind the war and searching for Eleanor. Will Eleanor and Victor be able to survive the war and the dark force that seeks Eleanor? * This is my original story. First time on WattPad! :)* * Not my pictures though but I like them * *Every few chapters will be in Victor's perspective *

Stopped moments before she can make a fatal mistake, she is taken in by William Bloom, a centuries-old vampire who offers her refuge within his secluded Virginia manor. At Bloom Manor, she finds a coven of predators bound by rules that keep their kind hidden... and each other in check. But something is wrong. Vampires are vanishing. Old powers are stirring. And Eleanor begins to suspect her transformation was not chance-but design. Someone wanted her changed. Someone wanted her to meet him. To survive, Eleanor must master the hunger inside her... or lose herself to it. ********************************* "I don't think you want him," he said. "You don't?" she whispered. "No." His breath brushed her ear. "It's me you want."
