The Unfortunate Betrothal

In the lands of Astraneah, governed by Peacekeepers, resides seven kingdoms. In a neglected forest, deep in the mountains, there is the Kingdom of Monnon. The kingdom imprisons a secret that all the other courts are not aware of. With a beauty that shines into the world, Princess Artemis is hidden away from the prying eyes of men and even further away from the Peacekeepers.

The Uniting of Kingdoms approaches, an event held by the Peacekeepers to unite all! It is a duel between men fighting for the hand of a woman they desire to marry. However, Artemis is preserved solely for most powerful lord in the land. Her betrothal to the Prince of Aridor ties her to a fate that she believes will lead her into despair. With help from her younger brother and of a mysterious man she is caught in an unfortunate fate. Running for her freedom and fighting for her life, will she be able to escape the hands of those who want to destroy her?
