Na madrugada de 21 de abril de 1900 nascia na família morningstar o pequeno Elijah, e quatro anos depois nascia seu irmão Alarick, seus pais John e Ingrid foram assassinados por fatos desconhecidos .
    Adotados pelo seu tio Nick, um fazendeiro viúvo, e obcecado pelo acontecimento da morte desconhecida de seu irmão John e sua cunhada Ingrid, Nick era sabio em muitos tipos de lutas, passando para os pequenos sobrinhos todo seu conhecimento.
   Com o passar dos anos os pequenos irmãos ficaram adultos, Elijah com 24 anos e seu irmão com 21.
    Eles também ficaram obcecados pela a morte misteriosa de seus pais, e queriam respostas, assim como seu tio, mas mesmo os três procurando tanto nao conseguiram encontras nenhuma pista se quer, dos assassinatos de John e Ingrid.
     E os anos passaram, e passaram..... ate que seu tio já velho faleceu, sobrando apenas na família os dois irmãos.
     Os dois irmãos era muito ligados um sempre cuidando do outro, as mulheres caiam de amor pelo os dois, e os homens com ciumes os odiavam.
    Alarick o mais novo sempre arrumando problema,  e seu irmão Elijah o ajudando sempre a seu lado, não importava se estava errado ou não,  mais de todas as confusões e lutas que eles entravam sempre conseguiram sair com facilidade, ate um certo dia.
     Num bar os dois irmãos estava bebendo e conversando com lindas garotas, e dois rapazes com uma faca cada um, chegou por trás do Alarick o esfaqueando pela as costas, assim que seu irmão Elijah viu, ele conseguiu acabar com os dois num piscar de olhos, mais ainda assim, os dois homens conseguiram fugir, Elijah volta correndo para seu irmão, encontrando ele no chão cheio de sangue, porém dando risadas, assim Elijah abismado, pergunta para Alarick "como que você ainda está vivo, depois de ter levado uma facada nas costas", Alarick também sem entender, fica sem resposta, os dois irmãos sai do bar, e volta para a fazenda, e lá eles ficam se perguntando sobre tudo que tinha ac
