The moment Louis laid his eyes on the curly green-eyed boy, he knew he was special. And not just special in the way that made Louis's heart beat faster (which he would never admit that it did), but in a way that made the blood in his veins stop. Louis wasn't stupid and knew what boys with red eyes and shrunken shoulders had a reputation of doing. He knew what wearing a jacket in the hottest weather meant and god, did it make his eyes sting. Louis also knew he wanted nothing more but to save the boy that didn't think he deserved saving. Who knows, he might even be saved himself along the way.

So @franzixidfc contacted me and asked if I couldn't write a book on her idea and this is the result. I tried to follow the basic storyline and added some myself. Harry and Louis were best friends when they were kids until Harry had to move away. Harry returned at the age 17 to his home town to live with his aunt. The kids in Ireland bullied him for the way he dressed. In his new school Harry noticed a loner that everyone called Tommo. There was something familiar with the boy but Harry doesn't make the connection at first. Instead he tried to befriend the boy because he knew how it felt to be alone but Tommo wasn't interested in making friends. Purely fictional. I wrote this when I was like 15 so it's awful and horribly inaccurate regarding lots of stuff and the characters are really, really annoying. If it didn't have so many reads and votes and that I would delete it. PLEASE, if you want something with better writing and still full of angst, look at my other fics instead (Tempest is my fav) // Harry is upset, he just wants someone to care about him but he keeps pushing everyone away.
