Suddenly, her friends become his friends, and things seem to be looking up for him.  That is, until his past comes back to haunt him.

The new friends he made get a wake up call when, one by one, someone tries to murder them, someone from Asa's past.  And no one is in more danger than the one he has grown the closest to: Mercy.
