Kidnapped? Annoying. Kidnapped with your sworn enemy? Downright infuriating. Kidnapped with your sworn enemy and a total stranger, while your ex-best-friend-turned-traitor is in the front seat, casually enjoying your suffering? Yeah. That's just Kiera's luck. One minute, she's living her (semi) normal life, throwing sarcastic insults at Rowan Sterling like it's a competitive sport. The next? She's got a bag over her head, handcuffs on her wrists, and a first-class ticket to WTF-ville. And guess who's responsible? Elijah freaking Santos. (aka Public Enemy #1, Certified Menace, and Professional Smirker of Doom.) Now, Kiera has questions. Why is she kidnapped? Who the hell is Celeste, and why is she tied up too? Is this a murder situation or a ransom situation? And most importantly-HOW is she supposed to escape when her idiot heart keeps skipping a beat every time Elijah calls her cariño?! One thing's for sure-Kiera isn't going down without a fight. (She might go down with an accidental crush, though. Whoops.) --- Enemies? Absolutely. Allies? Maybe. Lovers? ...Oh, God. Let's not talk about that. Because if Kiera's learned one thing? The line between love and hate is very, very thin. And she's about to cross it.
