Phantom in the Night

The city's underworld is no place for a weakling.

After being abandoned at the tender age of 12, Kuro Akiyama has had a hard life on the streets, doing anything and everything she can to survive. Now, eight years later, she's left her past behind her and has become a hardened villain, fearing almost nothing. Quick-minded, not to mention quick-witted, sharp, and determined, Kuro is nothing short of a champion. She has made a name for herself, or others have made one for her. Phantom, a stealth artist and talented thief with a teleportation quirk. In the space of a few hours, that changes. The greedy claws of the past are trying to claim her, and her carefully constructed walls begin to crumble down. Shocking truths are being revealed. Unexpected alliances are forming even as Kuro's fears become reality. In the wake of this madness, will Kuro survive?

This is a My Hero Academia fanfiction! It will mainly focus on Kuro and Shota Aizawa aka Eraserhead (possibly as a love interest?) as well as feature a few others. I'm not sure where I'm going with this yet, but I guess we will see! I mostly wanted to put this up here to get a feel for how I was doing with it and to get some feedback. That being said, there will possibly be a lot of editing and going back to change small details as the story forms (I'm a writing nazi), and the updates will be irregular as I am busy with school. I will try my hardest to continue to work on it and keep updating, but we'll see. I hope you enjoy the story!
