In Another Life
Amlyne had been fighting the feelings she felt for Jeffrey Alan or Jeff for 10 years. They met when she was 11 and he was 14. He had moved from Vermont to South Carolina. He was a chubby boy who wanted nothing more than to race cars. She was a be-speckled, mousy 11 year old who just tried to stay out of the way of bullies. The day they met something happened. They became as close as brother and sister. They ran and played, climbed trees, worked on cars, and read Race Car magazines. She looked up to him as the brother she never had. She taught him how to be a redneck Southerner and he taught her how to take care of herself. As time went by the feelings of friendship became more. For a while, it was difficult to be friends. JP got a little too into the Redneck life. He let people lead him down a dark path that Amlyne could not help him out of, or so she thought. He ran with a rough crowd that scared Amlyne. She not only had to fight her own feelings but also had to fight with her parents. They did not approve of JP. They saw him as bad influence and dangerous. So while Amlyne was still under 18, she had to do as she was told. All that was soon to change.Complete

"I love you" she says and kisses my jaw tenderly. "I love you too baby" I reply stroking her still damp hair. We were sat in a dirty McDonald's car park. We could be sat in a fucking pile of trash and I wouldn't care. Because I would be with her. As long as I'm with her, nothing else matters. -------------------------------------------------------- After all he had known was anger and hatred she was like a breath of fresh air to him. With just one look into her mesmerizing chocolate eyes and one listen to her angelic voice he knew he was ruined. He despised this feeling. He felt helpless. No matter how much he tried to stay away he was drawn to her and he knew he was playing a very dangerous game. Leaving the pain of her past behind her she starts a fresh in a new town with her older brother. Meeting the towns bad boy was not on her agenda but every time she saw him she was intrigued. He was rude and had a terrible attitude, but his eyes didn't show anything but pain which is something she knew all too well. They are complete opposites but have one thing in common. It all started when he accepted my friend request on Facebook. I couldn't believe that he actually accepted my friend request. I was so happy. I don't know why I was so attracted to him... I thought he was this nice and innocent guy but the more I know about him, I realized that he was beyond an ordinary innocent guy...He was much more than that... Every time I was with him, I experienced new things. He brought out the best and the worst in me. He taught me how to talk to people and socialize. I overcome my shyness and I know things about guys that I didn't know before. I changed. But, there was a side of me, that I thought I would never have. The side of me that I don't want anyone to know, my dark side. Above all that, he was bad. He was bad to me, and I didn't even realized it. I was blinded by love, one sided love.
