Inside the cities with safe borders, people go to work, friends have a coffee at cafès and kids go to school. All is normal despite the fact that hippogriffs and manticores roam the streets, worlocks light the roads and kelpies and mermaids swim in the ocean.
But outside, people are poor and live in fear the monthly demon attacks that destroy buildings and kill people.
Yet the angels up above haven't blessed the Earth with anything but silver and iron. Not a weapon to kill the demons, or have they?
