Lucian, Nycella, Valence, Chet, and Dante have been close friends since childhood, growing up in the run-down town of Vamicus, leaving them with little hope for the future. One day, while all partaking in a town-wide sporting event, they get invaded by the World Government The Sanctus, a power whose corruption rendered the world all but a wasteland. After failing to protect their town, the friends are forced to flee their hometown and soon find themselves over a thousand years into the past at a time before the Sanctus succumbed to corruption. With the goal of destroying the Sanctus before they ruin the world, they ultimately set out on a journey that send them across the world, building a global army and hopefully fix their broken future.

Laura has gone through a lot in the last year. Her Uncle Will returned home safe from deployment, she met his 'unique' team, got shot, fell in love, got her heart broken, and now she's off to an Ivy League School to better the Yellowstone Ranch. No matter what's been thrown at her, she's mustered up the strength and courage to continue on and push through. Though this time she's finding it harder than before, after having her world shattered by the two men she thought she could trust. She'll forgive, but she won't forget. Does she find herself falling for another that she swore would never happen? Or will she give them a second chance at love? And what happens when she's thrown into a war with her new companions that she was told was over?
